Right by Paddington Station, our newest Market Halls is a lively hub bursting with flavour, entertainment and constant footfall. With 8 street-food traders, 2 bars, a live stage and a bustling terrace, it’s a high-energy venue that runs from morning commuters to late-night crowds. As Bar Supervisor, you’ll help lead the bar team in the thick of this vibrant environment, keeping service smooth, standards high and the good times rolling throughout every shift.

The role

As a Bar Supervisor at Market Halls, you’ll take ownership of delivering smooth, efficient and high-quality service while leading and supporting your team. You will:

  • Lead the bar team through clear communication, hands-on leadership and energetic service
  • Oversee bar operations including set-up, stock management, cleanliness and closing procedures
  • Ensure drinks are prepared to specification and delivered with speed, consistency and great service
  • Support and develop the team through on-shift coaching, feedback and training
  • Maintain compliance and safety standards, including age verification, allergen awareness and till accuracy
  • Drive commercial performance through upselling, guest engagement and minimising wastage


About you

You’ll be a natural leader with a passion for great hospitality and an eye for detail. You will bring:

  • Previous experience supervising or leading a bar team in a busy hospitality environment
  • Strong product knowledge across beers, wines, spirits and cocktails
  • Confidence, warmth and the ability to motivate, support and guide your team
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure
  • A proactive, solution-focused approach with strong organisation skills
